Humpback Rocks has always been one of my favorite hikes and I think i’ve mentioned it to probably 10 different couples as a possible engagement session location..but no takers until Kristine and Jeremy! I think the biggest deterrent for most people is that Humpback Rocks is listed as a “strenuous” 1 mile hike. It’s basically 1 mile straight up on a rocky trail. I’d say it was well worth the effort since these are definitely some of my favorite engagement photos i’ve ever taken!
It was definitely tricky to move around up there and the cold wind was great for blowing Kristine’s dress around, but these two were up for anything and never skipped a beat. It was great getting to know Kristine and Jeremy on the ride from Richmond and hiking up and down from Humpback Rocks. We have a ton in common and I can’t wait for their wedding this fall! They are such a kind a fun couple, I know it’s going to be a great one!
