Our last wedding of 2015, and it couldn’t possibly have gone any better! This was our first time shooting at the gorgeous Renaissance and it surely didn’t disappoint. So many interesting perspectives…and those chandeliers…wow! Winter weddings are a fun but challenging thing. It’s a rare situation where we don’t have any daylight to do bride and groom portraits, but I think rare and challenging situations push us to really think creatively and help to come up with things that you may never have seen before. If you’re from Richmond, and have been to the James Center this time of year you’ll know that if you’re in a position where you’re doing night time portraits, there really is no better place. It took some logistics to pull it off but thanks to Brittany for 2nd shooting and lighting, Lily for being 8 months pregnant and still willing to chauffeur us from place to place so we didn’t have to deal with parking, Emmett for making sure we had the time we needed to pull it all off, and Jackie and Chris for braving the cold with nothing but smiles. You guys made the whole day a pleasure for us and everyone else involved. Here’s a few of our favorite photos from your day!
