Who we are?

Steven and I have lived in the Richmond area our whole lives but we didn’t meet until our last semester of college at CNU.  We tied the knot a couple years later on the beach in Emerald Isle, NC. Marriage is wonderful, and being able to work together is an added bonus! We have 3 young kids that bring us more joy than we could have ever imagined. We have 2 daughters, Isla and Della, and a son named Miles. We’re the luckiest parents on the planet!

Our dream to pursue photography professionally began with our trip to Alaska. We bought our first “real” camera and lens in preparation, with the hopes of getting some great wildlife and landscape photos in the backcountry of Denali National Park. Grizzly bears don’t take direction very well, but we ended up with some shots we’ll never forget!

Frequently Asked Questions

To book a wedding with us a $1000 deposit and signed contract are required.

We love to travel and are completely open to out of town or destinations events… who wouldn’t be! We’ve done shoots or weddings in Greece, Paris, Jamaica, NYC, Iceland, Boston and tons of awesome places in Virginia/DC/MD…so we’re up for anything!

The Online Viewing Gallery will be ready 2-3 weeks after your wedding.

Absolutely! We can send formal shots upon request if you’d like to see our style, they typically don’t make the website because we don’t find them as interesting as the others. We do all the standard photos you would expect at your wedding.

You can expect approximately 75 fully edited images per hour of coverage. At a typical 8 hour wedding we deliver anywhere from 750-1000 images.
